HiKi - How it all began!
The company "HiKi Versand - Wir Leben Angeln" was founded on 15.5.1997 and started with 12 employees, most of whom are still working for the company today. The name HiKi is composed of the names of the founders Gunter Hiesberger and Manfred Kefer as well as an i for International. In the beginning brochures, flyers and later catalogues were sent to customers. As HiKi continued to grow steadily, a new office building was opened in Tragwein in 2009, after only one year of construction. This offers, distributed over 3,500 m2, space for a fishing tackle shop, storage and office space.
